Mando and the others then reach the cockpit, and while Bo-Katan is trying to force the captain to tell her the location of Moff Gideon so she can get her Darksaber back, he then kills himself so he can’t be used for information.Īnother episode that brought great new additions and a character death was “Chapter 13: The Jedi.” Mando and Grogu head to the planet Corvus, searching for the Jedi Ahsoka to help train The Child. Moff Gideon gave the captain and his two officers a strict message that the ship could not be taken, causing Welliver’s character to shoot his subordinates. The well-known actor Titus Welliver made a cameo this season playing the captain of an imperial ship that Mando, Bo-Katan, Koska Reeves and Axe Woves infiltrated. And they did, with countless storm troopers facing their end. With the rise of the infamous Empire once again, and Moff Gideon’s need to get his hands on everyone’s favorite child, it was extremely likely that Mando and the rest of the team were going to cross paths with countless storm troopers and friends of the Empire along the way. After numerous rebuilds and lightspeed chases, Mando’s famous ship will surely be missed in the future. Right before the Dark Troopers take Baby Yoda away, Gideon destroys the ship in an explosion of fire, leaving nothing left of the vessel except for our memories of Din and Grogu’s adventures. And that is the destruction of the famous ship we have seen since the start of the series, Mando’s ship, the Razor Crest. But in many fans’ opinions, there was actually another sad misfortune in this episode. Well, the word “tragedy” was in the title after all. “Chapter 14: The Tragedy” brought us some of the most heart breaking moments of the season, as young Grogu was taken by Moff Gideon once again.
